It is permissible for a pilgrim in a state of ihram, when cold, to wrap himself with a cloak or jacket, or similar garments, without wearing them [in the usual manner]. If he is compelled to wear the jacket, then it is permissible for him to do so, and he must offer a fidyah (expiation): slaughtering a sheep, or fasting three days, or feeding six poor persons.
