Is money earned from a project founded with lottery money forbidden (haram) or permissible (halal)? And is it permissible to return only the lottery money?

The lottery is forbidden gambling, and the money acquired from it is ill-gotten and must be disposed of by spending it on the poor and needy.

One must repent sincerely of this sin and get rid of the money acquired from the lottery.

As for the profits generated from this money, it is permissible to benefit from them. This is the soundest opinion among scholars.
