What is the ruling on a man wearing the military chain that a soldier places around his neck, on which his name is written and which is considered a military ID?

It is forbidden for men to wear chains, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and the like, because these are characteristics of women, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the man who imitates women. As for military dog tags, there is no harm in them, because they are not for adornment, but for the purpose of identification and determining the identity of their owner, and there is no appearance of imitation or adornment in them.
