Is it permissible to travel for study that necessitates staying overnight outside the home in a non-Gulf country, and does its ruling differ from traveling for study in a Gulf country?

It is not permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram (unmarriageable kin). An exception to this is her travel for the obligatory Hajj with a trustworthy group. Accordingly, it is not permissible for the questioner to travel without a mahram, even if she does not spend the night outside her home. Similarly, it is forbidden for her to travel for study in any country without a mahram.
