Is a person resurrected after death in the state in which they died and in the last clothes they wore?

Scholars have differed in their interpretations of the Hadith, "Every servant shall be resurrected in the state in which he died." Some have explained it to mean that the deceased will be resurrected in their shrouds, while others have confined this to the martyr and the one in a state of ihram. Al-Manawi stated that the Hadith means a person will be resurrected upon the condition, whether good or evil, in which they died. It has not been reported that a person will be resurrected in the last clothes they wore; rather, people will be gathered barefoot and naked.
