How does blessing come upon one's money, family, self, and everything one owns?

Blessings in a Muslim's life are achieved through four main things: First: Obeying Allah and His Messenger by performing duties and avoiding prohibitions, seeking forgiveness, and repenting. This includes maintaining kinship ties and avoiding forbidden dealings. Second: Thanking Allah for His blessings with the heart, tongue, and limbs, and acknowledging that blessings come only from Him. Third: Following the manners of Islam when using blessings, such as saying "Bismillah" (in the name of Allah) before eating and drinking, and avoiding extravagance. Fourth: Protecting oneself with the prescribed supplications (du'a) and remembrances (dhikr) at all times.
