What is the ruling on placing plants, flowers, or tree leaves in restrooms for decoration or other purposes?

There is no harm in placing flowers and plants in restrooms, provided that this does not lead to extravagance (israf) or wasteful spending (tabdhir), both of which are religiously condemned. Extravagance is exceeding the limit in spending money, while wasteful spending is squandering it in an improper manner. Wasting money is prohibited, and it must be preserved because it is a blessing for which a person will be questioned on the Day of Judgment.
