Is indifference to what people say considered arrogance, and does that fall under the warning mentioned in the Hadith: "No one who has the weight of a mustard seed of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise"?

Arrogance and self-admiration are among the most dangerous traits that can ruin a servant. Allah Almighty does not love the arrogant, and no one who has an atom's weight of arrogance in their heart will enter Paradise. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, defined arrogance as: "rejecting the truth and despising people." Therefore, disregarding people's words can be praiseworthy if it signifies sincerity towards Allah, but it can be blameworthy if it involves self-admiration, unwillingness to accept advice, and contempt for others. One should accuse oneself, beware of arrogance and self-admiration, examine oneself, monitor one's heart, and seek Allah's help.
