The ten Companions who were promised Paradise are mentioned in the hadith narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and others from Sa'id ibn Zayd. They are: Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Al-Zubayr, Talhah, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Abu Ubaydah ibn al-Jarrah, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, and Sa'id ibn Zayd. It is not known that the title "Lord of the Sword and the Pen" was established for any of the Companions.
