Is the remembrance (dhikr) mentioned in the Hadith: "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Master of everything, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul, and the evil of Satan and his shirk (associating partners with Allah)" to be said once, or can it be repeated openly? And is the word "shirkahu" pronounced with a fatḥa on the shīn and rā' (شَرَكه) or with a kasra on the shīn and sukūn on the rā' (شِرْكه)?

This supplication is mighty and beneficial. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, taught it to Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him. It is: "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Lord and Sovereign of everything, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism (or his traps)." And in another narration, there is an addition: "and from committing any evil against myself, or bringing it upon a Muslim." It is recommended to recite it in the morning and evening, and before sleeping. It includes seeking refuge in Allah and resorting to Him from all evils. This supplication is considered among the supplications restricted by time; it is recited after the Fajr prayer until just before sunrise, and from after the Asr prayer until just before sunset, and when going to sleep.
