Is it permissible to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers, on a continuous basis, due to night work that necessitates sleeping during the day, in order to avoid frequent interruptions to sleep?

You must observe prayers at their appointed times, in obedience to Allah's command: "Guard strictly the prayers, especially the middle prayer; and stand before Allah with humility." (Quran 2:238), and His saying: "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a time-bound ordinance." (Quran 4:103). Be wary of being included in the verse: "But there came after them a generation who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil." (Quran 19:59), and His saying: "So woe to those who pray, [but] who are heedless of their prayer." (Quran 107:4-5). Strive to wake up for prayers, and the interruption of your sleep will not harm you.
