Who is the best companion after the Ten Promised Paradise?

The best companions after the ten promised Paradise are: the people of Badr, then the people of Uhud, then the people of theat Pledge of Allegiance under the Tree (Bay'at al-Ridwan), then the people of the Conquest (of Mecca), then those who came after them. The scholars have unanimously agreed that the best among them are the Four Righteous Caliphs, then the completion of the ten, then the people of Badr, then Uhud, then the Pledge of Allegiance under the Tree. Among those who also hold a special merit are the people of the two Pledges of al-Aqabah from the Ansar, and the early converts (al-Sabiqun al-Awwalun).
