The answer

It is not permissible to know the truth by men, for everyone's words can be accepted or rejected except for the infallible one, peace and blessings be upon him. Allah Almighty said: {There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day} [Al-Ahzab: 21]. Therefore, if a scholar or leader contradicts the Sharia, his contradiction holds no weight, and it is obligatory to reject his action and abandon his saying and follow the Sharia of Allah Almighty. It is also appropriate to advise those who deviate and their followers, because "the religion is sincerity (or advice)."
