The woman must repent and sever her relationship with the man, because online conversation is a path for Satan. She should decisively ward off evil, hold fast to Allah, occupy her time with beneficial deeds, and seek righteous companionship. If her husband is oppressive, she has the right to seek divorce, and if he refuses, she should refer her case to the court. Custody of the children belongs to the mother unless she remarries or there is an impediment, and in case of dispute, the matter is referred to the Sharia court.
