The question

Is breaking wind intentionally while reciting the word "Allah" considered an act of disbelief (kufr)? And is thinking of describing someone as "the Oppressor" (al-Dhalim), with the mistaken belief that it is one of Allah's Most Beautiful Names, considered an act of disbelief?

The answer

A person afflicted with obsessive doubts regarding mockery of religion must cast these whisperings aside, for they originate from Satan. They are not considered disbelief as long as they are mere whisperings that one dislikes. Allah's name "Al-Jabbar" has three meanings: the جبر (compelling/mending) of power by subduing tyrants, the جبر (mending) of mercy by rectifying the weak, the broken, and those whose hearts are shattered, and the جبر (loftiness) of being above His creation and elevated over them. To overcome these whisperings, one can refer to relevant fatwas.
