However, if you have exerted your utmost effort in dissuading your wife from removing the niqab, and she insists on doing so, then you may overlook this matter to preserve the family bond, even if you believe it to be obligatory. This is because it is permissible to act upon a less preferred opinion for such a benefit. Strive to cooperate with your wife in rectifying hearts and increasing faith.
