Is repentance valid through weeping and the heart's resolve not to return to sin while lying down, or is it necessary to sit and raise one's hands in supplication and seeking forgiveness?

Recalling sins and weeping out of fear of Allah's punishment for them is remorse. If this is accompanied by abandoning the sin and resolving not to return to it, then the repentance is sound and has fulfilled its conditions. However, if the sin relates to the right of another human being, then the right must be restored to them. Repentance does not require a specific posture, such as sitting or raising one's hands; repentance is valid in any state if it fulfills its conditions and pillars.
