What is the ruling on one who practiced masturbation at night during Ramadan and slept without performing ghusl from janabah?

The practice of masturbation is forbidden (haram), and its prohibition is even more severe during the nights of Ramadan due to the sanctity of the time. Whoever has done this must hasten to repent. If dawn breaks while one is in a state of major ritual impurity (junub), their fast is valid, based on the statement of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would wake up in the morning in a state of major ritual impurity due to intercourse, not from a wet dream, during Ramadan, and then he would fast."
