Disposing of a disabled child is considered intentional murder, forbidden by Islamic law, and is one of the major sins for which Allah has promised hellfire, His wrath, His curse, and a great torment to its perpetrator. Furthermore, killing a forbidden soul removes the joy of life from a believer. The disability of children may contain many wisdoms, including testing the family's faith, demonstrating Allah's power, and serving as a lesson for the healthy. Contentment with Allah's decree and destiny is obligatory, and perhaps Allah will facilitate her healing.
