Does the fasting become void and require making up the day and expiation if intromission occurred and pre-seminal fluid was discharged unintentionally during foreplay with one's wife in the daytime in Ramadan?
Whoever has intercourse forgetfully, ignorantly, or by mistake during the daytime in does not break their fast, due to the of Abu Hurayrah: «Whoever forgets while fasting and eats or drinks, let him complete his fast, for it was Allah who fed him and gave him drink.»
As for the insertion of part of the glans from foreplay, it is not considered intercourse and does not break the fast. However, the fasting person should avoid foreplay involving the private parts to prevent the discharge of madhi (pre-seminal fluid), which is considered a fast-breaker by some scholars.
The emission of maniy (seminal fluid) breaks the fast, even without penetration. As for the complete insertion of the glans, it is intercourse that breaks the fast, even if it happens unintentionally. And whoever inserts the glans has invalidated their fast and is liable for expiation, which is freeing a believing slave. If unable, then fasting two consecutive months. If unable, then feeding sixty needy persons.
However, the discharge of madhi without penetration or the discharge of maniy does not invalidate the fast.
