What is the ruling regarding a woman who was caressed by her husband during the daytime in Ramadan, and her private parts became wet with a fluid she does not know if it is semen or something else, and she does not know how many days the caressing occurred?

It is permissible for a husband and wife to engage in foreplay, kissing, and intimacy, as long as it does not lead to ejaculation. If semen is discharged as a result of this, the fast is broken, and a makeup fast becomes obligatory. As for pre-seminal fluid (madhy), it does not invalidate the fast according to the more sound of the two scholarly opinions. If there is doubt whether the discharge is semen or pre-seminal fluid, it is most likely pre-seminal fluid, and the fast is not broken by mere doubt.
