Is leaving the house considered a legitimate excuse for delaying prayer, especially in non-Muslim countries where there are no suitable places for prayer, and for a girl?

Allah has not forbidden prayer outside the home. A Muslim living in a non-Muslim country is not permitted to delay prayer until its time has expired. One can pray in any clean place, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The earth has been made for me a place of prayer and a means of purification. So, whichever man of my Ummah is overtaken by the time of prayer, he should pray." Millions of Muslims pray outside their homes in non-Muslim countries, and there is no difference between men and women in this regard, unless one fears foreseeable harm to oneself if one prays in a public place, and is unable to pray even while sitting. In such a case, one is excused for delaying the prayer, but then it becomes obligatory for them to emigrate from the non-Muslim country if they cannot practice their religious rituals there.
