How does a worshipper exit a supererogatory or obligatory prayer if his ablution is nullified, and is he required to perform the taslim?

Minor ritual impurity (hadath) invalidates prayer by scholarly consensus. If prayer is invalidated by hadath, there is no need to utter the salutation (taslim) to end it. Rather, the worshipper should simply leave directly. This is supported by the hadith narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If any of you experiences hadath during his prayer, let him hold his nose and then depart."
