Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, die as a result of the poison administered to him by the Jewess?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was indeed affected by the poison administered to him by the Jewish woman. This is evidenced by his saying: "The Khaybar meal continues to afflict me every year, until now is the time my aorta has been severed." Umm Mubashshir confirms this, stating that she does not suspect her son Bishr's death was due to anything other than the food he ate with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, at Khaybar. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, replied to her: "And I suspect nothing else. This is the time my aorta has been severed." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, died as a martyr because of this poison.
