Did the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, die poisoned or from the effects of the poison given to him by the Jewish woman?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ate from a poisoned sheep presented to him by a Jewish woman in Khaybar. The foreleg [of the sheep] informed him that it was poisoned, so he stopped eating. He continued to feel the pain of that poison until the illness from which he passed away. He said: (O Aisha, I still feel the pain from the food I ate in Khaybar, and now I feel my aorta being severed by that poison), which confirms the effect of the poison on his body, peace and blessings be upon him.
