Can a lame person lead prayers?

The matter of Imamate is based on virtue and perfection. The more perfect the Imam, the better he is. It is permissible to put a less virtuous person in front of a more virtuous one, though it is disliked. The Imamate of a lame person is valid, although a group of jurists disliked his Imamate.
