Is it permissible for a traveler who has completed the prayer behind the Imam to shorten and combine other prayers later, either alone or in another place?

Whoever intends to stay in a country for four days or more is no longer considered a traveler, and therefore must complete the prayers. It is not permissible for him to avail himself of the concessions of travel, such as combining and shortening prayers, unless there is another excuse besides travel. Accordingly, it is not permissible for one who stays for two months to avail himself of the concessions of travel, according to the majority of scholars. As for whoever is permitted to avail himself of the concessions of travel, it is permissible for him to pray some prayers in full and shorten others, and to combine some prayers while separating others, provided that the recognized conditions for the permissibility of shortening and combining prayers are met.
