What is the ruling on a pagan maidservant with an unclean hand touching the door?

Not all dirt is najis (impure), and the default state of things is purity. What the maid touches is not deemed najis merely because she does not wash her hands, unless you are certain of the impurity of her hand and you see her touching something wet, or her impure hand was wet. However, if the hand is merely damp, and nothing drips from it, then impurity is not transferred by it. It is advised not to give in to obsessive thoughts.
