In light of suffering from scrupulosity (waswas), does hand perspiration, which is unseen but felt, transfer impurity (najasa)? And is everything touched by hands or objects presumed to have impurity on them considered to have become impure, such as clothes washed with menstrual blood whose location is unknown, or the phone and other items touched by perspiration that is suspected of transferring impurity? And has a makeup container into which water entered and was left to dry become pure, or must it be discarded? And do smooth surfaces become pure by dry or wet wiping, and does dry cleaning purify the hukmi (constructive/legal) impurity of clothes? And if impure items are considered pure, will my prayer not be accepted?

The ambiguity can be removed by knowing several things: The basic principle regarding things is purity, and impurity does not transfer except with certainty. Some scholars are of the opinion that impurity does not transfer from a wet object to another pure one. A small amount of blood is overlooked, and smooth surfaces are purified by wiping. It is permissible for a person afflicted with obsessive doubts to adopt the easiest opinions. Juristic impurity is removed by pouring water over it, and an automatic washing machine is sufficient to purify it. If you doubt the presence of sweat, or the transfer of impurity, or the impurity of something, the default is non-existence and purity. Ignore obsessive whispers due to their seriousness.
