Does much seeking of forgiveness and supplication protect one from disgrace? And is sincere repentance accepted after a sin? And what are the signs of Allah's acceptance of repentance? And were the actions of the Commission's men correct in disgracing a person based on the statements of a child? And is it permissible to supplicate for concealment, not being deported, and not having one's livelihood cut off after sincere repentance?

Allah accepts sincere repentance, no matter how great the sins. In fact, He rejoices in it and transforms bad deeds into good ones. Repentance involves abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, while maintaining discretion and avoiding public disclosure. If you repent, then increase your good deeds, remembrance of Allah (dhikr), and supplication (du'a). There is no religious prohibition in supplicating to Allah for concealment and well-being.
