What is the Shar'i ruling regarding a husband who does not care for his ill wife and does not spend on her, and how does the Sharia view the wife remaining ill in her family's home without her husband's care?

Allah Almighty commanded men to treat their wives with kindness (ma'ruf), and this includes financial support, which is considered one of the greatest rights of a wife. This support encompasses food, drink, clothing, housing, and medical treatment. The husband must house his wife in his home, and he has no right to expel her from it. What the husband does by neglecting and abandoning his sick wife is far from treating her with kindness and benevolence. The husband should be good to his wife, endure her illness, and seek reward from Allah for whatever money or effort he expends.
