Is a brother who refrains from participating in household chores and requirements sinful, even though he is capable of doing so and has been repeatedly asked by his brother, as long as it has not been religiously proven to him that he is sinful?

If two individuals share ownership or lease of a property, they are obligated to contribute to its development, repair, maintenance, and cleaning, each according to their share, based on the Prophet's (ﷺ) saying: "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm." If one of them refuses to spend, the ruler should compel him. If he has no money, funds should be taken from his assets or a loan secured on his behalf. Similarly, participation is required in all common tasks that benefit the property or both partners, such as opening the door or paying bills. The Prophet (ﷺ) encouraged cooperation and serving others, emphasizing that "Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother." The reluctant partner should fear Allah and emulate the Prophet (ﷺ) and the righteous, while observing the rights of kinship and neighborliness.
