What is the ruling on working to deliver personal luggage for United Nations employees with the possibility of alcohol being inside without knowledge, or upon accidentally discovering its presence?

It is permissible for a Muslim to work as an employee for disbelievers, provided they adhere to the Sharia regulations. However, carrying alcohol is a forbidden act and incurs a curse upon its doer. Indeed, "the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed ten people in connection with alcohol," and among them is the one who carries it. Therefore, if a Muslim knows there is alcohol in the luggage they are to carry, they must apologize for carrying it to avoid what is forbidden.
