Is it sunnah to raise the hands for the takbir when standing up from the second intermediate tashahhud in the congregational Maghrib prayer that one joined late?

Raising the hands when standing up from the first tashahhud is a sound and established Sunnah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Nafi' narrated that Ibn Umar used to do that and attributed it to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It was also narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to raise his hands when he stood up from the two prostrations. Al-Bukhari confirmed that what Ibn Umar, Ali, and Abu Humayd added regarding raising the hands when standing up from the two rak'ahs is authentic. For someone who joins the Imam in the first tashahhud of the Maghrib prayer, it is recommended for him to raise his hands when standing up, following his Imam. The same applies if he performs the first tashahhud in what he completes for himself. As for standing up after the Imam's tasleem, raising the hands is not prescribed for it because it is standing up after only one rak'ah.
