Relationships between young men and women are not sanctioned by . Mere emotional attachment incurs no blame as long as it does not lead to forbidden acts. You erred by establishing a relationship with the sick man. However, your acceptance of another's marriage proposal incurs no sin. Occupy yourself with what benefits you in your religion and worldly life. It is permissible for a woman to offer herself in marriage to a righteous man, within the prescribed Sharia guidelines.
