Will one who has committed adultery and been imprisoned or executed enter Paradise or Hell?

Whoever dies from the nation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, believing and associating nothing with Allah, will enter Paradise, whether he enters Hellfire first and then exits it, or does not enter it at all. This applies to those who did not repent of their sins or were not purified by having the prescribed punishment (حدّ) carried out upon them. As for whoever repents with the known conditions of repentance, he will not enter Hellfire, Allah willing. Likewise, for whoever has the prescribed punishment carried out upon him, the punishment serves as an expiation and purification for him, as most scholars have stated.
