Will the one sentenced to death be among the people of Paradise, or will his fate depend on his previous deeds?

The execution of the death penalty or any other prescribed punishment is considered a purification for the offender, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever commits any of these sins and is punished for it, it will be an expiation for him." Some scholars are of the opinion that forgiveness is specifically for the repentant. And whoever repents with sincere repentance will be among the people of Paradise, even if they are killed because of their sins, based on Allah's saying in Surat Al-Furqan (25:68-70): "And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever does that will meet a penalty. The punishment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in humiliation – Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous deeds; for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful."
