Is it permissible to distinguish some workers by providing them with larger cuts of meat in their meals than others, knowing that the company requests this to increase its profits, and is this considered among the "Al-Tatfif" (short-weighing/cheating) mentioned in His (the Almighty’s) saying: "Woe to Al-Mutaffifeen (those who give less in measure and weight)"?
The company must fulfill the terms of the contract and not deliberately reduce the weight. Whoever does so has cheated and betrayed the trust, and falls under the threat mentioned in the verse: (Woe to those who give less in measure and weight). A "mutaffif" is one who reduces measure and weight, and diminishes people's rights, even by a small amount. Minor, unintentional errors that are difficult to scrutinize are excused; as Allah says: (And give full measure and weight with justice. We do not burden a soul beyond its capacity).
