Is it permissible to steal food from work to compensate for the injustice inflicted by the employer?

Islam has forbidden theft and prescribed a punishment for it. However, it is permissible to take one's right secretly if it cannot be obtained through other means. This is known as the issue of az-zafar (taking one's right by force or stealth), and it is supported by the hadith of Hind, the mother of Mu'awiyah. Based on this, if the restaurant owner is withholding your wages, and you cannot obtain them except by this method, then it is permissible for you to take food equivalent to the amount of your right.
