What is the ruling on the emission of prostatic fluid (madhy) after purification (istinja') and before securing oneself (tahaffuz), and directly after securing oneself and before ablution (wudu'), or during ritual bathing (ghusl) for major impurity (janabah)? And is it permissible to secure oneself while prostatic fluid (madhy) remains on the penis, and then perform ablution (wudu')?

If you doubt the emission of madhy (pre-seminal fluid), do not pay attention to the doubt. However, if you are certain and suffer from madhy incontinence, you must wash the madhy before taking precautionary measures (tahaffudh), then take precautions, and whatever comes out afterward will not harm you. You should perform wudu' for each prayer after its time has begun and pray as much as you wish with that wudu'. The Malikis are lenient in this matter, as they do not obligate you to take precautions at all, as long as the madhy exits without your volition. If you do not suffer from incontinence, you must wait for the madhy to stop flowing, then perform wudu' and pray.
