What is the ruling on a grown son sleeping in the same room with his mother, in two separate beds?

It is permissible for a mature son to sleep in the same room with his mother if they are in separate beds, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Order your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for it when they are ten years old, and separate them in their beds." Separation in beds means that each of them should have their own specific bed, or that they may be in one bed but not touching each other.
