Who is the Companion whom Allah blessed with a mizmar from the mazamir of David, and by what was he known?

The Companion who was gifted a melodious voice from the instruments of the family of David was Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, due to the beauty of his voice in reciting the Quran. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent him as a judge and a teacher to Yemen, and he was known for his frequent recitation of the Quran and his night prayers.
