Is it true that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to wipe his face after raising his hands in supplication, and that he would enter the graveyard barefoot? And is it permissible to play a Quranic tape in a home or shop with the intention of expelling devils and the evil eye, even if one does not listen to it?

Summary of the Fatwa (definition):

1. Ruling on Wiping the Face After Supplication (Du'a): The ruling on wiping the face with the hands after supplication has been addressed in previous fatwas.

2. Walking in the Graveyard with Shoes: It is not permissible to walk between or over graves with shoes, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) prohibition of such an act. However, walking in the graveyard away from the graves is permissible, based on the hadith (definition), "Indeed, they hear the sound of their footsteps."

3. Playing Qur'an in the Home and Shop: It is permissible to play the Qur'an in the home or shop while being occupied with something else. Reciting the Qur'an via a device is beneficial in expelling devils and the evil eye. As for hanging Surahs and verses, it is permissible for decoration or reading. However, if it is for repelling the evil eye or expelling devils, its ruling is that of an amulet (tamimah).

4. Taking Money from the Father and the Cook's Work on Friday: There is no harm in taking money from the father for work and self-development, as long as the money is not illicit. The cook's work during Friday prayer time is forbidden and a major sin. He must be prevented from doing so by advising him to put up instructional signs or not to receive customers before the prayer, and to continue advising him.
