Is it permissible to wipe one's face, body, and the rest of the physical self when someone says: "To the presence of the Chosen One [Prophet Muhammad], with the intention of healing, and to the souls of our deceased, your deceased, and the deceased Muslims, Al-Fatiha"?

Scholars have differed on the desirability of wiping the face with the hands after supplication. Some consider it desirable based on what has been narrated concerning it, while others dislike it due to the weakness of the reported hadiths. As for wiping the entire body, this has not been reported from the Prophet, peace be upon him, and should be avoided. A Muslim should also avoid saying "Al-Fatihah for the soul of the Prophet, peace be upon him," or for other souls after supplication or a gathering, because it has not been reported in the Sunnah or from the pious predecessors, even though the reward of supplication and reciting the Qur'an reaches the deceased. Our Prophet, peace be upon him, receives the reward of every righteous deed without dedication, because whoever guides to a guidance will have a reward similar to the rewards of those who act upon it.
