Would Allah accept the repentance of a married woman who had an illicit affair, and who is now remorseful, weeping, and seeking forgiveness? And what should she do to expiate her sin?

The servant must repent to Allah with sincere repentance if he sins, regretting what he has done, and resolving firmly never to return to the sin, so that Allah may accept his repentance, rejoice in it, and replace his evil deeds with good ones. And a woman should take precautions for herself and guard against causes of temptation, and increase her kindness to her husband.
