Means of teaching children are governed by the rules of absolute customs, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used effective teaching methods, such as drawing shapes, teaching by action, and giving examples. Educational means are an open door among the doors of customs, and the Sharia has brought ease in them. The basic principle concerning educational means is permissibility, but this should not be applied to teaching the text of the Holy Quran with such absolute freedom, and displaying it with the recitation. Such an action requires extreme deliberation. It is not permissible to depict matters of the unseen, such as Paradise and Hell, the horrors of the graves, angels, and jinn. And if an image is conveyed for something tangible and perceptible, it must be accurately represented and approved by scholars. The clips mentioned in the question contain clear Sharia violations, including: depicting the bodies of messengers and prophets while concealing their faces, depicting angels in a human-like form, imprecise recitation, and depicting the world of Paradise and Hell. It also appears that the supervision was from some Rafidah (Shi'a). Therefore, we do not object to the original idea of using illustrations for children to clarify some meanings of the Holy Quran, but we object to the dangers and harms that occur, and we warn against transgressions that dishonor the Quran.
