How can one honor their parents after their death, and do they feel his ongoing charity, and is the prayer of a deficient person answered for them?

Scholars have agreed that the deceased benefits from supplications and prayers for forgiveness made on their behalf, from charity given on their behalf, and from Hajj and Umrah. Ongoing charity for parents is among the acts of righteousness and benevolence. It is apparent that the deceased becomes aware of it, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, a man's rank is elevated in Paradise, and he asks: 'How did I attain this?' It is said: 'By your child's supplication for your forgiveness.'" The righteousness of a child means their faith, performance of their obligations, and avoidance of major sins. A child's shortcomings in some matters or their committing some sins do not prevent their parents from benefiting from their supplication and charity given on their behalf.
