Is one whose mother or father passed away while he was a child deprived of the good of the parents' supplication and their righteousness? And is he for whom his mother supplicates better than he whose mother passed away and has no one to supplicate for him?
The presence of parents is a blessing for a child. However, Allah may test a person with their loss, yet compensate them with something better, as happened to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and many imams who lost their fathers at a young age. One who has lost their parents can be compensated for the reward of honoring them by seeking forgiveness for them, giving charity on their behalf after their death, and maintaining ties with their relatives and friends.
