Is it permissible for Muslim youth in Brazil, both male and female, to intermingle within the bounds of etiquette, in religious camps, lectures, or conferences, with the aim of getting to know each other and facilitating their marriage, due to the fear of Muslim young men marrying Brazilian women and leaving Muslim women without marriage?

Noble aims do not justify unlawful means. The gathering and mixing of young men and women in this manner is impermissible because it is a means to fitna (temptation, discord) and corruption of hearts. The general rule regarding men looking at women is prohibition, except when proposing marriage due to necessity.

There are legitimate alternatives to facilitate marriage, such as forming a women's committee and a men's committee to collect data of those wishing to marry and coordinate between them to provide information to those seriously desiring marriage.
