Has the evil eye afflicted this person who changed from having passion for Islam and performing duties to becoming lazy in prayer and turning away from religion, along with hating life and feeling nonexistent?

The person mentioned needs supplication (Du'a) and advice, by explaining the importance of prayer, as abandoning it is considered disbelief (kufr), in accordance with the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Between a man and disbelief or shirk (polytheism) is the abandonment of prayer."
